Activists of several youth organizations (BUNT, Young Front, Jeans for Freedom) and some Belarusian citizens came today to the Central Court in Mensk to support Andrei Kim, political prisoner of the regime.

About 50 people attended the court hearing, several tenths waited outside. They spread a banner “Freedom to Andrei Kim!,” and held posters demanding his release. Special police forces ousted the people from the square in front of the court building towards the nearby stadium.

Kim is being charged with using violence or threatening the use of violence against a representative of police forces. He might be imprisoned for up to two years.
