An action in commemoration of Irina Kazulina took place today in Mensk.

About 400 people, BUNT activists and others not indifferent to the grief of the Kazulin family, gathered on Kastrychnitskaya Square. They held Irina’s portraits, flowers, and candles. A banner “Freedom to Kazulin” was also spread out. The people constructed a cross from burning candles in the middle of the square and went in the direction of the Churvony (Red) Catholic Church.

The activists of the Baranavichy BUNT branch, together with other local activists, celebrated the Day of Belarusian Solidarity: they solemnly put flowers at the memorial to the victims of stalinist violence of 1937-1953. Also candles have been kindled.

On the same day the BUNT activists celebrated the foundation of Baranavichy branch - as that was their first "official" action. In our turn, we wish our new companions courage and inviolable trust in the Victory. Long Live Belarus!
