Yesterday Mensk and other cities of Belarus traditionally commemorated the Day of Solidarity with political prisoners and disappeared politicians and journalists.

Activists from different organizations conducted a series of activities; they disseminated flyers and banners with information about political prisoners. BUNT activists were among those involved. Police forces behaved aggressively and arrested a great number of people. More than 15 participants were arrested in Mensk only.
