About 20 participants of the Liberty Day celebrations were arrested in Baranavichy. BUNT’s activists were among the detainees.

A group of 14 people, representatives of the civil society, was arrested by the police while on their way to place flowers to the Cross of Punishments in Baranavichy. Everybody was taken to the local police office. Two underage teenagers and two handicapped persons were allowed to go. Ten people were left to spend the night behind bars till the following morning’s judicial hearings.
